Project Features

Relatively high competition with major aggregators that provide information about real estate purchases. Because of this, we had to take a step that is quite rarely used among real estate developers' websites: creating listing pages for all properties that are for sale.

Work carried out

Stage 1 – Creation of listing pages and SNF collection

As mentioned above (in the “”project features”” block), we started our work by creating listing pages – below is an example.

Then, at the stage of work on optimising the site, we collected the semantic kernel. The following tools were used for this task: KeywordPlanner, Ahrefs and Semrush. With the help of these tools were identified keywords and phrases most relevant to the client’s business.

Stage 2 – Analysing the main competitors

Next, the main competitors that occupy the top positions in the search results were analysed. Ahrefs, Semrush and Dataforseo tools were used for this purpose. Analysing the competitors helped us identify the strategies they use to achieve high positions in the search results.

These initial steps allowed us to better understand the market and the competitive landscape, which became the basis for further actions to optimise the client’s website.

Stage 3 – Technical Site Audit

This audit is the foundation for successful website optimisation. In this case, the following basic work was carried out using the Screaming Frog tool:

  • Collecting data about the site pages: Using Screaming Frog, we scanned all available pages on the site to analyse and determine the current status. This included information about URLs, meta tags, titles, link structure, and other key elements.
  • Meta tags and headings: Based on the data collected, rules were generated to optimise the meta tags and headings on the pages of the site. This included optimising H1, H2 and H3 headings and creating unique and informative keyword-specific meta tags for each page.
  • Additional internal linking: Rules for internal linking were developed to improve user navigation and strengthen the structure of the site. This helps to distribute attention to key pages and increase their authority.
  • Alt and title tags for images: Every image on the site has been tested and optimised with rules for Alt and title attributes. This improves the indexing of images by search engines and increases accessibility for users with disabilities.
  • Customising the robots.txt file: Rules for the robots.txt file were developed to exclude pages with little useful content or duplicate material from being indexed. This helps search engines focus on the most important pages of the site. XML sitemap creation: XML sitemaps were developed to ensure that search engines index all important pages more efficiently.

This basic technical optimisation work helped to eliminate errors that could have negatively affected the site’s search engine ranking and create a more optimal structure to improve the user experience.

Stage 4 – Develop a link building strategy for the site

Based on the data from the competitors’ link profile audit, we developed a strategy for building quality backlinks to improve the position of the client’s website. This is an important stage in search engine optimisation, as quality backlinks help to increase the authority of the site in the eyes of search engines.

The following steps were identified as part of this strategy:

  • Competitor Analysis: Detailed study of competitors’ link profiles, identifying their highest quality and most influential backlink sources.
  • Finding Relevant Sources: Based on competitor analysis data, relevant backlink sources for the client’s business were identified, such as resources in the same industry or thematically related.
  • Content Strategy: Developed content strategy to create valuable content that attracts the attention of potential backlink sources. This may include publishing guest articles, informative articles, infographics, and other content formats.
  • Approach potential sources: Created personalised and informative queries and offers for potential backlink sources. This includes suggestions for content placement.
  • Tracking and Analysis: Established a system to track and analyse the results of the strategy. This allows you to evaluate the effectiveness of each backlink source and make adjustments to the strategy as needed.

The strategy was used to build quality backlinks, which ultimately helped strengthen the position of the client’s website in search engine results.

Overall results

The images show the growth in organic traffic and the dynamics of increasing the number of keywords for which the site gets ranked.

These positive changes in organic traffic and the expansion in the number of keywords for which the site appears in the search results, indicate the successful implementation of the site’s optimisation strategy and an increase in quality backlinks.

This growth means increased visibility of the site in search engines and therefore an increase in potential traffic and customer base.

The result of the work was the growth of high-frequency queries in a fairly short period of time, which allowed us to get targeted organic traffic after the second month of cooperation, generating leads.
